If anything, I think Degrassi fell into anti-gay cliche land even worse than the O.C. Straight girl ends flirtation with bi-ness, ditches lesbianism, which is only dragging her down and ruining her life, as we can see from the lesbian's example. They pretty much ended it exactly like the O.C., straight girl gets herself together, grows up and goes back to hetero-land, worthless lesbian is revealed as a loser is written off. There are some happy lesbian couples in the world, but you'd never know it from tv, and unfortunately, Degrassi jumps on board of the anti-gay cliche that lesbian couples never work out. I disagree with what someone said, this episode was most certainly a slap in the face to Palex. I wonder what they're going to do with him now.Īll in all I enjoyed this episode. Her and Damien would had made a cute couple but she didn't let her attraction for him get in the way of what she believed in. I think it is safe to say we all know which route Jay is going to go down.Īnd the route Manny is going down I think by the end of this season I am going to be a hardcore Manny shipper. I think thoughout the whole episode that was one of the best scenes. The Alex and Jay scene was PRICELESS I must say. She wasn't the Alex I've grown to love that's for sure. Paige was a complete bitch in this episode and I hate how Alex was just cool with everything Paige was saying and doing what she wanted her to do.
I was praying that Palex would end but I wish Alex was the one who decided to break things off.
But LIAB wasn't as bad as I expected it to be, it was just predictable. LIAB was not better than SITD but lets get real I do not think any episode this season is going to be SITD.
